Abe Lincoln Story is a "Swing Punk Soul" band from California. With influences ranging from Louis Prima, Otis Redding, and the Jam.

Adam West is two parts Stooges, one part MC5, one part Misfits pepper with the best 60s garage punk. ADAM WEST was formed in December 1991, when singer/songwriter Jake Starr decided to form a 60s garage band. ADAM WEST started gigging around Washington, D.C. and soon built up a local following.

Alcoskalics is a ska band based out of Yucaipa, California. Our goal in life is to get girls!!! They enjoy looking at really hot girls, going to ska shows and watching at really hot girls skank, visiting theme parks, like Disneyland and Magic Mountain, and looking at really hot girls ride rides.

BagG

David Barnes and his collaborators have a compositional styles that is extremely ecclectic, combining elements of folk, art rock, funk, industrial, ambient and avant-classical with an equally wide range of instrumentations.

Bloom. is a "power-pop band reminiscent of the pixies" from gainesville florida. the band's sound can not be easily described, but if you can imagine billy corgan meets frank black, you've probably got a good start. bloom (consisting of brothers brendan and devin moore, and drummer jeff lataille) plays shows all over florida and currently has two cds to its credit. the bands first cd, the self-titled "bloom." has been a major success and has already sold over 2500 copies. their second effort, "veda hubbell" was released in june of this year, and is already well on its way to even higher numbers.

Blue Yard Garden is an eclectic mix of original music packed with strong, rhythmic and melodic feelings. The five piece sound draws on every component of music based on their unique background of musical style. It's the honest, good nature, sincere feeling of this hometown band out of Rockville, Maryland that keeps it irresistible to a broad variety of audiences.

Called Into The Now is a Rochester, New York based Grateful Dead coverband. They are currently working on a bunch of original tunes and a CD to be released by the new year.

Catchpenny has a very unique sound. In fact, to this day, the four of us are speechless when asked the age old question, "like, what kind of music do you guys play?" i guess that if you had to call us anything, the most accurate term would probably be something like 'indie-disconsonant-art-power-pop-rock.'.

Cornucopia is a Finnish metal band. Cornucopia started out something like 4-5 years ago. We've made a few demos so far, but plan to release a CD sometime later.

Crack Up is a German band which plays "death metal", 2nd cd was released by Nuclear Blast in the USA on July 15th, European release date was 4th of April!

Curmudgeon is a noisey punk band from Wickliffe, Oh. They started playing under the name Curmudgeon about an hour before they found out Kurt Kobain killed himself.

Currently Nameless The groovelicious sound of Burlington's five-part harmonious mixed bag is spreading like cream cheese on a warm bagel. With an unpredictable style spanning pentatonic power rock, acapella jamming, acoustical philosophizing and slammin' funk, these guys could bring a smile to Nixon's face. Currently Nameless have accumulated an impressive list of original songs which is constantly growing and allows for show after show of fresh music. In the past six months the band has spread it's musical mayhem up and down the East coast from Maine to Florida.

Damage Control plays melodic heavy rock, sometimes called Modern Rock. Based out of Chapel Hill North Carolina and are receiving worldwide airplay.

Days of Yore members are nostalgic musicians who try to bring back to life the genuine metal of the mid 80's, era in which bands such as Helloween, Iron Maiden and Kreator wrote the laws of this musical style.

Desert Mouth Like the rising of the Phoenix such is the emergence of Chris Cullen's Desert Mouth from the ashes of Radio
Luxembourg. From a chance meeting in May '94 with Peter Johns and Chris Thomas the members found they had a mutual love of the Australian music sound.

The Disappointmints is just Chris from the band Curmudgeon's solo project, as of now. The Disappointmint's first album is called "Death At Red Rocks."
Downside - is an intense rapmetal/funk/groove/hip-hop band from Southwest Florida. They are a young 6 piece which can best be described as a mixture of Rage Against the Machine, , Stuck Mojo, Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Beastie Boys.

Dumm-Dumms From within a world of starving musicians emerge three unique talents: Jimmy Catlett (guitars), David Edwards (Bass) and Stuart Gunter (Percussion) collectively known as Dumm-Dumms from Virginia.

G.R.I.T.S. is an unsigned funk-rock / hip-hop group out of the SF Bay Area, CA. They have opened for people the likes of Rick James, and Ice-T's Body Count.

Ground burst onto the music scene in late 1995 with their quirky style and bad bedside manners. Both gritty and good looking, Ground rises like a paradoxical supernova over the global music scene. (i.e. they cast poignant light).

Kokojo is an unsigned Sydney based Groove band which plays original songs stamped out from a driving creative input.

Jeff Kollman's prolific career has featured a wide variety of projects and achievements. After claiming Ohio's Best Guitarist contest in 1991, Jeff has had an active career as an instrumental artist, producer, studio session player, and the guitarist and key songwriter for his vocal group Edwin Dare.

Killer Kowalskis - Whaddaya get when you give the intensity and high flying showmanship of a 300-pound wrestler an adrenaline overdose? It may not be pretty, but it makes a really good noise. That's what you get with the "bubblegumpowerpoppunk" sounds of Killer Kowalski. Love songs that make you wanna scream and hate songs that make you happy.

Manifest Destiny is a metal band from Stillwater, Oklahoma. They are currently signed to Crazy Life Records in Germany, and have two albums out. The first album, All Life All Minds was released in 1996 with the late Steve Bryant on voclas. The new album, What You Fear, has just been released and features new vocalist, Russ Pace.

The Mary Janes began as a side project for two women from indiana's vulgar boatmen, the mary janes have become the full time effort of singer/songwriter janas hoyt. originally a duo with boatmen violist kathy kolata, the mary janes have recently settled down to a list of regulars including cellist geraldine haas (ex-the mysteries of life), hoyt, kolata and drummer jana wampler, as well as kurt squire on harmonica and new bass player mike bean.

Medicine Head hails from the mid-coast of Maine, nestled deep in the heart of Acadia National Park, on Mount Desert Island. Commonly known for it's tourist industry, Mt. Desert Island is rapidly becoming a developmental playground for musical ideas. Medicine Head blends the realism and sensibility inherent in Downeast "Mainerisms" with rock n' roll from the soul to create a timeless collection of music.

Metamorphosis - A trio that uses computers and electronic and acoustic instruments to perform original compositions. Their music is a fusion of jazz, Latin, world music and New Age influences.

Midway is a four piece rock and roll band from Blacksburg, Virginia that plays their own unique brand of guitar driven power pop. Their sound can be described as a mixture of early sixties British invasion pop, seventies new wave, and the jangle of the late eighties/early nineties southeastern college scene.

Mook crystallized from the flux of several North-East(England) Bands in August 1996. Since that particular Big Bang they have been writing songs and gigging almost constantly ever since, around the Newcastle & Sunderland area, sometimes under assumed names (e.g. The Purple-Headed Love Monks) while honing their own unique musical style and decidedly 'off-the-wall' live act.

Morgul - Gothic Hardcore band from Zufikon/Switzerland.

Morphin Time are a young punk/hardcore band from Pinole, California.

Valarie Morris - classical composer with 30 "mood" pieces/songs on her new CD. Done entirely on synthesizer.

My Brother Jake is a new Dutch rock formation combining the heavy nineties with the roaring seventies (Alice In Chains meets Led Zep). Featuring Hollands best singer Robert Soeterboek as well as other well known Dutch musicians.

noahsredtattoo - With songs about an alien encounter, an adult film queen and Jerry Lewis, Noah's Red Tattoo consistently toured the Southeast and performed their brand of southern-indie-rock almost 100 times a year while still full-time students at the University of Florida. Upon graduation, Noah's Red Tattoo wisely disregarded their respective degrees and committed to living their lives out of their '82 Chevy van.

Heather Russell is no ordinary singer/songwriter. You might not be able to categorize her masterful blend of vocals and keyboard compositions, but everyone can agree that her work is intelligent, unique, and deeply moving. If record stores used categories such as these, you would find Heather's music filed alongside Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Sarah McLachlan and other musicians who have eluded traditional classification by creating their own individual sound. Heather s is a hybrid of many global musical styles such as Celtic, folk, classical, blues and rock.

Sanguine

Septic Tanks - Billy Kotchkoski is the sole member of the multiplatinum rock ensemble, the Septic Tanks. The Septic Tanks' first album, "Pump up the Valium," has 23 songs about the depression of suburban society, the boredom it brings, and other lovely concepts.

The Shorty Blackwells are a Garage/Pop/Rock/Indie band from London England. If you like melodic indie pop, with just a touch of bite where neccesary, come and check out The Shorty Blackwells. DIY sensibilities married to great tunes.

Slack Season is an original alternative pop band from the thriving music scene of Gainesville, FL (Home of the University of Florida and major label signees For Squirrels and Less Than Jake ). Slack Season formed in January when drummer Geoffrey May responded to a flyer that vocalist/guitarist J.R. Youngman and his brother, bassist William had posted. The two were an acoustic act at the time and were looking to make some noise. With the addition of May, the lineup was complete and the new band performed their first show just 2 weeks after forming at the city's best music venue, the Covered Dish and began to attract fans.

Slow Children Squared is Jason's (from Velcro Mary) solo sideproject. It's all really lo-fi stuff with just vocals and acoustic guitar. Some of the songs are V.M.songs, and some of them are covers. Some are only available as Slow Children Squared songs. Overall, it's pretty slow and sad, with a few exceptions.

Slojack - Emerging from the still smoldering red hot L.A. club scene that has spawned the likes of Jane's Addiction and Stone Temple Pilots comes L.A.'s latest buzz band, SLOJACK, a four-piece, genre defying band that fuses the kinetic energy of their contemporaries with the sonic dynamics of straight forward, hard-hitting rock and roll. The result has comprised powerhouse shows that continue to have trendy clubmongers moshing in the pits and the music community bending and ear to what has become the City of Angels' most talked about hardrock band.

Squeekball is a powerful pop-rock quartet hailing from the South Florida area. Even though the members of Squeekball are currently enrolled in school, they still find the time to fulfill band commitments and also to play as many concerts as possible. The band fits directly into "Pop Alternative" genre, which contains today's biggest acts.

Still

Still Angry is a native band from Switzerland, formed by six musicians with different social backgrounds. These differences, both musical and cultural, have quickly added a personal touch to their music : a mix of thrash, hardcore and rap that define GO CORE. Around a classical core-bass, drums, guitar - come along on top of it's two singers with an opposed register, and also the scratches and samples of Mr. Magik.

Sugarcoats a rawk-n-roll indie band from Northern California. The Sugarcoats are the happy outburst of the modern rock scene, and an antidote to depression and angst.

Tandym Tandym is an original music project comprised of three accomplished musicians; Jay Saffold (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Scott Goodfellow (vocals, keyboards), and Jimmy Baughman (drums, percussion, backing vocals). The group has recently been recognized as semi-finalist's in the Atlanta Songwriter's Association 1996 talent search. Two songs from the "City Out of Time CD" (Don't Walk Away, Annie) were hightlighted in the Association's annual search for promising new talent in the Atlanta metro area.
Theoduss is a fusion of many styles which can be best described as Live meets 311 with a twist of James Brown and Black Sabbath thrown in. The band is formed in Tallahassee, Florida in 1996.

Underwater Traffic is the first "Future Rock" band in the world, originating in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, CA, USA. Future Rock is a term coined by Underwater Traffic to define an ever-evolving, harmonic and rhythmically explorative form of new Rock and Roll - which expands the mind, while uniting the heart and spirit.

Universal is Jason Mitchell and Ben Ashley. They became friends 6 years ago in Phoenix while both were in other bands. After the demise of several bands each, the two chums began discussing an album over beer and philosophy one night which turned into COSMIC TRIGGER. JASON (guitar, bass) is a latent neo-hippie sympathizer who believes in nothing but love. Blessed/cursed with an absurdist sense of the world, he has a strange affinity for the ramblings of madmen where he feels truth may be found. BEN (vocals, guitar) is a deep, introspective cat, finely tuned to the injustices of man, and is widely considered to be hip. Both of these characters share an affinity for metaphysics and spiritual mysticism best left undescribed here.

Vampire Nation D Generation is an old-school style punk rock band from New York City. They were formed in 1991 and released two 7-inch singles before being signed to Crysallis / EMI - who released their self-titled debut in 1994. After a shakeup at EMI, D Gen left and signed to Columbia, who released their second album, "No Lunch" in 1996. Tehy have been credited by the press with kick-starting the resurgance of punk in NYC and, in addition to a few U.S. headlinig tours in 1996 and 1997, they have also opened up for Social Distortion, The Misfits and Kiss.

5point0 is a ska/punk band from Kennett Square, PA... They are influenced by a variety of ska and punk bands such as Operation Ivy, Less Than Jake, and The Suicide Machines, just to name a few. 5point0 has performed primarily in Southeastern Pennsylvania, but are always open to play in new places. They have performed with popular regional bands such as the Upstanders, The Ska Blazers, The Boils, and others. In months to come, they are slated to or have performed with The Slackers, Side Affects, Digger, and a few others which have yet to be finalized.
